Master thesis the edition-critique of Mustafa Ali's work which so-called 'âdiru'l-Mehârib' ant its content analysis

In this work, firstly we read and analyse the available manuscripts of Mustafa `Âlî?s book that titled `Nâdiru?l-Mehârib?. After proof-reading, the manuscript edited, criticized and annotated by us. In addition to this, the content of the work evaluated from point of view Ottoman History.Our thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the ?Introduction?, we mentioned about the changes occured in the years when the book was written and we gave brief information about Qanunî Sultan Süley-man?s period in order to make clear the Ottoman Empire?s position at the world in that time of era.In the first chapter, we gave information about biography, scientific personality and historiography of the writer of the book, i.e. Mustafa `Âlî. And in the end of this chapter, we gave short information about his works.In the second chapter, after presenting the content of the `Nadirul-Meharib?, we tried to clarify its historical value. Furthermore, we describe two manuscripts of the text of ?Nadirul-Meharib?.
