Abstract (EN)
The problem of poverty, which is accepted as one of the most important problems in all periods of history, is one of the problems that are tried to be prevented in today's world. The inequitable distribution that will emerge in the income distribution, which means the sharing of the total income obtained in a certain period in any country, among individuals, sectors, regions, causes a more pronounced between the rich and the poor within the country. Inequalities in income distribution is considered a social and political problem as well as an economic problem, as it can cause tensions and conflicts between individuals, groups, regions in society. In this study, the concepts of income distribution and poverty are presented with different aspects, the effect of injustice in income distribution on the problem of poverty in Turkey is examined. By examining the income distribution and poverty statistics published by TÜİK, it was concluded that the unequal distribution of income had a negative effect on the poverty problem.
