Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of sense-motor, perception and physical training in 2-6 years old children with development problem on the fields of development and emotional and behavior problems are examined. Sensory-motor sense and movement training is a study directed to personal and social, fine motor, gross motor, receptive and expressive language, emotion and behavior problems of 2-6 years old children consisting of nine (9 child) Autism Spectrum Disorders, three (3 child) having Speech Disorders, three (3 child) having General Development Delay, in total 15 children; it was applied through 18 weeks, 6 days in a week and 2 hours per day, in total 216 hours. With the aim of controlling the variables of our study, any other different training exercise was not applied to the sample group. Pretest- posttest design was made by using Denver-II development scale and Child Behavior Checklist for 2-3 and, 4-18 ages and with these data the positive effects of training on development areas and emotional and behavior problems were measured. In the analysis of the study, Wilcoxon sign test which is in SPSS 21.0 statistical software was used to analyze the findings and the analysis were evaluated in two parts: 2-3 ages and 4-6 ages' groups. According to the results of 2-3 and 4-6 ages group Wilcoxon sign orders test, when Denver II development scale and its sub dimensions' (personal- social, fine motor, speech and gross motor development) pretest and posttest averages after sensory-motor sense and movement training were examined, it is seen that there is a meaningful difference in all sub dimensions and general scores after the given training. According to 2-3 ages and 4-6 ages CBCL( Child Behavior Checklist) pretest-posttest results, decreases were determined in CBCL's internalizing, externalizing and general scores after sensory-motor sense movement training. As a result, after the sensory-motor, sense and movement training of children who are aged between 2-6, significant decrease in a meaningful level was seen in anxiety levels, aggressiveness and disruptive behaviors, and also fine motor and gross motor abilities, language and social skills were positively developed.
