Özet (EN)

Today millions of children are forced to work in the world. However, the development of a society depends on the education of children in that society. Both children?s self development and the their societies development are negatively affected when they are forced to work and when they do not get necessary education. Child labour is a national and international issue and needs to be solved by struggle strategies.Children are work in many different areas some of wich are dangerous. When we look at the problem globally, there are many reasons of that problem which mostly occurs in developing and underdeveloped countries. The main reasons for child labour are besides economical reasons such as structural changes in the market, unequality in income distribution, unemployment and poverty, the social reasons such as traditional structure, population rise, migration and education and political reasons such as structural adaptation policies, flexibility and deregulation. According to that, this flexible, irregular and crooked structure, resulting from globalisation increases child labour problem as well as poverty in underdeveloped and developing countries.Children are pushed to the manpower market basicly to contrubute to the family income. But, even this is something positive for the family in short term, in the long term it causes big problems. The child who starts to work at an early age and can not get a proper education faces with unempolyment later. Asa result of this, he suffers from poverty and he forces his own child to work so, he can not get rid of that vicious circle. For the development of a society, the education of children is essential. Children experience many different kinds of abuse while working and this affects them phsically, mantally and morally.International Labour Organization (ILO) has been fighting with this problem for children to have a beter future. To form strategies, to raise consciousness, to strengthen institutional structures or to form new ones is important. Apart from that economical support education, rehabilitation, social security and health services are also effective methods. To provide the contrubution of social sides as well as the society and legal support shows the effeciency of struggling with the problem.
