Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in the growing room of Sırnak University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture.Hazera 5656 F-1 and Semenis SVTD 8008 tomoto varieties (Solanum lycopersicum L.) were used as materials. Growing room temperature were kept at 25/18 ºC (day/night), %60-65 humidity environment under 8000 lux light intensity during the priod of study. In the study, tomato plants irrigated using hoagland nutrient solution. On the seedling planting date (03 february 2020) 300 ml hoagland nutrient solution was applied as canned water. On the 7 th of february 2020, the subject irrigation was started with the 1 st irriagation and on the 13th, 17th of februaray, 21st of february and finally the 25 th of february 2020. total of five different dates and %15, %25, %50, %75 and %100. Five different irrigation levels consisting of (control) subject were applied on two different tomato seedlings. Irrigation is not made for 20 days from the last irriagation date. For this purpose, the water stress have been applied to the tomatoes varieties since young–early period. Thus, it is aimed to determine shown reaction of water stress in the leaf and roots. During the trial, number of leaves (number), plant height (cm), stem thickness (mm), leaf area (cm²), degree of damage in plants (point), chloropyll index value (SPAD), leaf age and dry weight (g), leaf proportional water content (%), measurements fro nutrients in leaves and roots potassium (K) and calsium (Ca) (%), chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, chlorophyll a b, total carotenoid (mg/g), total phenolic (mg/g), total flavanoid (mg/g) and analyzes had been made. In the study criteria between water levels and tomato varieties examined. When evaluate %100 irrigation level Hazera 5656 F-1 variety leaves and stems, leaf area, degree of damage, dry weight ratio and leaf proportional water content, at %15 irrigation level plant calcium ratio in root parts,%25 irrigation level total phenolic and flavonoid ratio the best results are obtanied. It has been determined that the plant accumulates potassium in its gren parts in the water stress conditions. Seminis SVTD 8008 varieties at %100 irrigation level with plant height, %25 irrigation root parts potassium ratio, %50 irrigation level gren parts calcium ratio and %15 irrigation level higher results in the carotenoid values were detected. In addition to chlorophyll a b values considering all irrigation levels and two types of tomatoes results are close to each other. KEYWORDS: Water stress, Tomato, Phenolic, Flavonoid, Carotenoid
