Abstract (TR)

The internet shopping reached a very important point in a globalizing world through. With the advancements in technology, the internet shopping has become one of the most discussed topics in the buying behavior. In the literature, many studies have done on online shopping consumer behavior in many countries. However, this study is on online shopping, consumers' purchasing behavior in Gazimağusa Town, TRNC on participants aged 18 to 25. It is aimed to examine consumer attitudes towards online shopping on 300 consumers, using survey method. The investigated variables were; gender, education, economic distribution, the number of credit cards held, online shopping experiences, buying behavior, social media and risk perceptions. To test differences between two independent groups the SPSS 20 software used in analysis. One-way variance and the Chi - square tests were applied. As a result of the research, it was inferred that there is a significant difference between online experience with gender and the risk perceptions. In addition, there were significant differences between buying behavior and monthly income; level of education and online experiences also. On the other hand, there is a partial statistically significant difference between consumers' purchasing behavior and credit card ownership, social media and the products purchased, consumer gender and purchasing behavior.
