Abstract (EN)

An ontological concept of well-being that make individuals see their lives as a project and make their life satisfaction dependent on the individual's own assessment is a relatively new concept to the literature. This study examines the role of intermediary levels of cognitive flexibility in the relationship between ontological well-being and anxiety in young adults aged 18-40 years. After obtaining the necessary permissions for the use of inventory of ontological well-being scale, trait anxiety scale and cognitive flexibility used as a data collection tool in ethical permission and research, 522 volunteer participants between the ages of 18-40 were included in the investigation after consent was received. The data obtained from the research was analyzed by the structural equation model, and the intermediary role of cognitive flexibility in relation to the ontological well-being of anxiety was evaluated by the bootstrap results. According to the results; the role of intermediary cognitive flexibility has been identified in the relationship between anxiety and ontological well-being. (β=,742, %95 GA).
