The relationship between the tendency of the personnel of the provincial directorate of youth services and sports and the levels of organizational commitment

The aim of this study is to determine the levels of organizational commitment and intention to leave, understand the relation between demographic variables and to figure out the relationship between them. In accordance with the framework of this study, 403 individuals working at the centre or country in Ankara Provincial Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, Provincial Directorates and Organizational Commitment Scale and Intention to Leave Work Scale were applied. In the evaluation of research data, frequency is used as statistical method, percentage independent samples t-test is used for distributions and binary groups, one-way analysis of variance for multiple groups, pearson correlation is used for determining the relationship, regression analysis is used for the impact of three subdimensions of organizational commitment on the intention to quit the job. As a result of the research; the organizational commitment levels of the Provincial Directorates are found to be moderate and the"emotional commitment"subscale is significant and the intention to quit the job is generally low. When the effect of adherence sub-dimensions on the intention to quit is examined, there are significant and positive effects of emotional commitment and normative commitment sub-dimensions on the intention to quit, and according to the results of pearson correlation analysis, negative and meaningful relationship between the intention to quit and emotional commitment, normative commitment and organizational commitment scale. a relationship has been found Keywords: Intention to leave, organization, organizational commitment, staff
