Positive or negative situations occur in many stages of working life, which are necessary for the survival of man. Their positive aspects increase the quality of life and provide important benefits in forming happy individuals and communities. On the negative side, it creates significant problems both in increasing the problems of the person in working life and in fulfilling his responsibilities and shares to the people with whom he has to live. In the working life stages I mentioned, the person's recreational activities; It is thought that it will reduce stress and health problems, increase motivation and create positive individuals, and will provide important benefits in the development of many features. The aim of the study is to examine job satisfaction and burnout levels of individuals participating in desk and field recreation activities. Within the scope of the research, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale was used to measure the job satisfaction of the employees. The scale developed by 1 was adapted to Turkish and validity and reliability studies were carried out. (Cronbach alpha = 0.77). In this study, Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale was found 0.71. Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale is a five-point Likert-type scale scored between 1-5. Cronbach alpha coefficient 0.68 for sub-dimensions "internal satisfaction", Cronbach alpha coefficient 0.65 for "external satisfaction", Cronbach alpha coefficient 0.66 for "general satisfaction". The Burnout Inventory, which was developed by 3 and passed to the literature under the name of Maslach, is a seven-degree Likert type scale and consists of 22 items and three sub-scales. The universe of the research consists of Düzce Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate Employees. Spearman Correlation test was used to compare the scales. Normality test was conducted for scale sub-dimensions and other variables. It was determined that the data did not show normal distribution and therefore non-parametric test data analysis methods were used. The tests used were Mann-Whitney U in double matches and Kruskal-Wallis tests in multiple matches. The analysis of the data in this study was done with SPSS 22.0 statistics program in computer environment. In our study, it was concluded that the individuals working at the desk had higher burnout levels than the individuals working in the field. Working life, which covers a large part of life, creates significant problems for individuals working at the desk and on the field. It is thought that identifying these problems and conducting new researches about the problems that may occur will provide a more livable and quality life.
