Abstract (EN)

Aim of this research is to determine, teachers on duty in general High Schoolshow much and which level they are acquiring effective peculiarities of the schoolsthey are assigned. Therefore for this aim, in this research school manager, teachers,students, school environment, and parents, school atmosphere and school culture hasbeen studied. This research is a description work that scanner model has been used.Environment of this research is formed by the High Schools of Ankara CentralDistrict connected to the Ministry of National Education (Altındağ, Çankaya,Etimesgut, Gölbaşı, Keçiören, Mamak, Sincan, and Yenimahalle). Schools have beenselected trough the random method from this formed environment is constitutingmodel of this research. An inquiry has been applied to 563 school teachers workingin these schools. During this application, has been paid attention the length of servicethat teacher?s in duty in these schools is more then one year and they are not schooldirector or aid of school director.Inquiry has been used as an instrument of information collection. Afterdeveloping draft inquiry, expert point of view has been taken for to control validityof this inquiry nature. Also has been benefited from the teachers for to controlunderstandability of this inquiry. Scale has been developed by the researcher in thedirection of expert point of views is quintet likert type and constituted from 59article. This developed inquiry applied to the teachers working in the general highschools situated at central district and constituting environment of this research. Inthis research differences between the samples groups according to variation of lengthof service in these schools and within the effective school dimension, teacher?sperceptions, sex (women, man), and vocational seniority has been researched.After registering obtained data?s in to computer, statistical analysis of theseobtained data?s made with SPSS program. According to the results of this analysistables are formed and these tables are interpreted. In the statistical analysis of thesedata?s, frequency, percentage, arithmetical mean, standard deviation, t ? test, oneway variance analysis (ANOVA) and for the significance differences at the end ofviiANOVA Tukey ? HSD multi ? comparison test it has been used. Significance value? = 05 is accepted for the interpretation of the significance differences.Data?s obtained in this research are submitted below:According to perceptions of the teachers has been participated to this research,school managers perceive management works as a primary duty and consequentlythey consider educational leadership as a secondary duty.1. According to perceptions of the teacher?s has been participated to thisresearch, teacher in the effective teacher dimension they are not performing theirobligations related to training and educational activities. However, they don?t havespare time for improving themselves and their students.2. According to perceptions of the teacher?s has been participated to thisresearch, it has been found out that students are also not performing obligations theyhave to perform.3. According to perceptions of the teacher?s has been participated to thisresearch, it has been determined that school ? parents relations also not performingappropriately.4. According to perceptions of the teacher?s has been participated to thisresearch, it has been determined the relation between the school and parents isunreliable.5. According to perceptions of the teacher?s has been participated to thisresearch, schools are found successful in their training and educational activities, butit has been also determined physical substructures of these school are insufficient.6. Teachers perception related to the school managers activities, are notexpressing any significant differences according to their sex, vocational seniority andlength of service is determined.viii7. . Teachers perception related to the teachers activities, are not expressingany significant differences according to their sex, vocational seniority and length ofservice is determined.8. Teachers perception related to the students activities, are not expressing anysignificant differences according to their sex, vocational seniority and length ofservice is determined.9. Teachers perception related to the between the school and the parentrelational activities, are not expressing any significant differences according to theirsex, vocational seniority and length of service is determined.10. Teacher?s perception related to the school environment and school cultureactivities are not expressing any significant differences according to their sex,vocational seniority and length of service is determined.
