Abstract (EN)

Communication technologies have become indispensable tools in our lives, and they are of great importance in many aspects. In this manner, mobile technologies are expected to give their users faster and qualified experience each year. The latest experience in this field is 5G. This technology, which promises high speeds requires a new bandwidth. The scope of this thesis is the ultra-wideband bandpass filter design for 5G technology. The general filter information and design methods are explained. The filter designs are based on the 5th-degree Chebyshev method. Models have been analyzed on AWR and HFSS software. By using Gielis's Superformula and getting inspired by nature, defects have been added to the base conductor. The designed microstrip filters by using the insertion loss method have been improved with superformula shaped defects. After PCB production of filters has been done, experimental measurements have been completed at "The RF Electronics and Communication Laboratory" of İzmir Katip Çelebi University. It was seen that computer-aided analysis supported each other to a great extent.
