Abstract (EN)
Designing livable interiors is primarily integrated issues related to the relationship between people and space, perception and experience. It is seen that interiors designed in the same way that space responds to human needs and expectations affect the behavior, psychology and physiology of individuals. Considering the issue of how individuals feel inside the interior and what it means in their lives, the components that make up the interior are of great importance within the scope of perception criteria. Perception is the experiences that an individual creates in his mind. In this regard, spatial perception is formed in accordance with our personal experience. Man and space should be perceived as a whole. Interior Deconstructions, which are formed by combining many elements, should not be arranged by the user or designer in a purely functional or exclusively aesthetic way. For this reason, when designing the space of people who will live in the existing interior, it is necessary to measure their perceptual reactions or take into account perceptual differences when making space designs. It is seen that the correct use of elements such as form, color, material, texture or lighting plays a big role in the meaning and perception of interior spaces in the designs that will be made. In this study, virtual reality (VR) technology, which is one of the modern technologies, was used to test perceptual differences. The factors affecting the user's perception and space design, such as form, color, material, texture and lighting, were tested by creating a virtual interior design and perceptual differences were determined. The importance of designing interiors according to perceptual variables has been emphasiz
