Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to develop practical mathematical models that determine the 28-day compressive strength of recycled aggregate concrete. The mixing ratios of the concretes obtained with the recycled aggregate in the literature were compiled, and four models were developed using the Reaction Surface Method (TYM) in line with the data obtained. The response surface method is a statistical and mathematical analysis method that examines the relationship between these parameters and the response, taking into account one or more parameters that affect the problem or process. In this thesis, water/cement, water absorption ratio and total aggregate/fine recycled aggregate variables affecting this reaction value, as the 28-day compressive strength response value of the concretes obtained by using the recycled aggregate by using the Response Surface Method, were determined as parameters. The models obtained are expressed with mathematical equations and 3D graphics, and when examined, it is seen that the strength values decrease as W/C increases. At the same time, it is clearly seen that the 28-day pressure values increase as the A/C ratio increases. In addition, it was observed that the total aggregate/fine recycled aggregate had a significant effect on the 28-day compressive strength. In another model, it is seen that the use of aggregates with high water absorption rate contribute positively to the 28-day compressive strength.
