Abstract (EN)
This study focuses on the daily experiences of women left behind by men who migrated abroad. Questions were asked in line with the interview form prepared about how women experienced the migration process, the difficulties they encountered, their perceptions of femininity and masculinity that changed depending on the migration experience, and their views on the division of labor within the family based on gender. The obtained data were processed and interpreted together with descriptive analysis and thematic coding. The result of the study is based on the daily experiences of the 14 women interviewed. As a result of the study, although factors such as the development of the migration process and the inclusion of women in decision-making varied, the landscapes that developed in the following processes were similar. Namely; Whether or not the household type has changed after migration, women's exit to the public sphere, rumors and gossip as the invisible hand of masculine domination are examples of the most basic topics that women suffer from. Strategies developed by women despite being left behind and left behind is another subject that the study is interested in. In the study, it was seen that women had to restructure their identities against the masculine domination in society. As a result, as a result of migration, it is the woman who is the victim whether she gives consent or not. Marriage, in which sexuality is suppressed, emotionality disappears, and social pressure is always felt, has turned into an isolation cell. The existence of so many psychological cases is no longer a coincidence.
