Urban residential architecture of the province of Giresun

In this study, traditional town houses were located in the province of Giresun have been investigated. Owing to differences in a number of aspects like the material, technique, decoration and so on housing in rural areas in were excluded. As a result of this study, general characteristics of the dwellings .in the central, Tirebolu and Görele townships have been determined with respect to design and planning to determine the urban structure types. Thus, the importance of civil architecture work on the traditional houses in the province of Giresun was uncovered.
