Abstract (EN)

The essence of leadership in organizations often revolves around the process of influencing members to understand what needs to be done and facilitating individual and collective efforts to achieve common goals. Leaders have important duties in mobilizing organizations and, more specifically, in the development of innovative work behaviors. In particular, entrepreneurial leaders use material, human, and social capital to ensure that organizations gain sustainability features and increase the social capital of the organization. These leaders, who successfully identify opportunities and successfully utilize resources from various stakeholders to capitalize on these opportunities and create value, are studied in the field of entrepreneurial leadership. Entrepreneurial leadership, which has been an important research topic in psychology and business for almost a century, forms the basis of this doctoral thesis. The theory of resource conservation serves as the study's conceptual foundation. In the context of theory, first of all, the mediator effect of social capital between entrepreneurial leadership and innovative work behavior was examined. Afterwards, the moderating effect of the relationship between social capital and innovative work behavior by organizational support was examined. The sample of the study consists of professional employees operating in different sectors in Turkey and their direct managers. The data from 202 respondents in the survey study was judged to be statistically appropriate and was analyzed using the SPSS package program. According to the findings, there is a positive and significant link between entrepreneurial leadership and social capital, organizational support, innovative work behavior, idea development, coalition formation, and implementation of ideas. The fact that the organization is led by an entrepreneurial leader or is managed with an innovative mindset boosts the social capital of the organization on the one hand, and increases organizational support on the other. Innovative company practices have the ability to create a fertile cycle, resulting in a rise in social capital and organizational support.
