Abstract (EN)
This study is a prospective examination aimed at evaluating the creative thinking abilities of entrepreneurs in innovative decision-making processes through the biomimicry approach. The research method is based on a pre-test-post-test model and aims to measure potential changes in creative thinking abilities of participants before and after biomimicry training. A total of 44 entrepreneurs from various sectors were included in the study. Participants were assessed using Guilford's Alternate Uses Task (AUT) and the Individual Creativity Scale (ICS). After the initial assessment, a training session on biomimicry was conducted for the entrepreneurs. The same scales were re-administered 15 days after the training. Ethical principles were strictly followed throughout the study, and informed consent was obtained from all participants. The research findings indicated that biomimicry training had a positive effect on the creative thinking abilities of entrepreneurs. Data analysis was performed using SPSS, and changes in creative thinking levels before and after the training were evaluated using paired sample t-tests. The results highlighted the potential of the biomimicry approach to enhance creativity in innovative decision-making processes. This study contributes to a better understanding of the relationship between biomimicry and creativity and emphasizes the importance of integrating biomimicry principles in entrepreneurship education. The findings aim to contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and fill existing gaps in the literature. This research is considered a significant step towards determining the effects of biomimicry training on the creative thinking abilities of entrepreneurs.
