Abstract (EN)
At the present day, entrepreneurship is viewed as an important driving force in terms of developed and developing economies and encouraged and supported by means of the public and private enterprise. Beside this, the concept of emotional intelligence covering abilities of individuals such as understanding, expressing, and directing emotions is also rapidly gained acceptance in business life and accepted as one of the keys of success. These three concepts that are valuable in terms of actual developments constitute the essence of the study. In this study, it was aimed to measure the relationship of entrepreneurship with emotional intelligence and gender discrimination. In this direction, the viewpoints of the students studying in the departments of Business Management, Economics, ÇEKO, Social Services, and Public Administration in the academic year of 2017-2018 to entrepreneurship, gender discrimination, and their emotional intelligence were measured by quantitative methods. The data collected from the surveys prepared in the scope of the study were examined by means of the various analysis methods. Whether or not there is a relationship between the variable "Have you received any lesson related to entrepreneurship?" and Gender Discrimination Scale and Entrepreneurship Scale was tested by t-test and reached the conclusion that there was a significant difference between them. Whether or not there is a relationship between the independent variable "gender" and entrepreneurship scale was tested and reached the conclusion that there was a significant difference between them. Whether or not there is a relationship between the variable "Do you think of that you have an entrepreneur personality?" and Entrepreneurship Scale and Emotional Intelligence Scale was tested and reached the conclusion that there was a significant difference between them. As a result of the findings reached, it was identified that there was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and gender discrimination and entrepreneurship. It is thought that this determination will make contribution to the literature in terms of its indicating importance of emotional intelligence in the context of entrepreneurship
