Abstract (EN)
In order to determine piano accompaniment problems in musical work, the accompaniment part of the musical work should be known. The original partiturof ?La Traviata? is orchestra; therefore, the primary study for singers should be done with piano accompaniment. In addition, the singer-voice should feel the effect of orchestra during piano accompaniment. All the instruments in orchestra play their own party individually during musical work; however, the pianist plays all parties together with piano accompaniment. Therefore, it is detected that this situation leads to technical problems in terms of pianist.This research also includes the life, historical importance and works of the composer with the subject of his opera and technical analysis.In conclusion; in order to play piano accompaniment of ?La Traviata? of Giuseppe Verdi, the pianist should be technically competent and should have skills to follow the singers.Keywords:La Traviata, Accompaniment, Giuseppe Verdi, Piano
