Abstract (EN)
The aim of this dissertation is to demonstrate how global companies operate in local markets within the scope of their corporate identity activities and how social responsibility projects are applied in similar issues by country. While the concept and formation of identity is examined in the first phase of the study, the second phase talks about the areas where the corporate identity interacts with and the strategy of corporate identity.In the third stage, examples of the social responsibility studies carried out by Vodafone as a global brand, is shared in the context of the corporate identity studies of global brands. Shared examples include Turkey, the United States, the UK and Tanzania, which are three countries with different economic dimensions, educational backgrounds and health conditions. The frame of the issue is discussed as a result of the literature review and the how of similar projects were carried out in different countries is pointed out. This study shows that the brand is committed to its global values in all markets as well as creating confidence in the target audience towards the brand, reinforcing the perception of socially responsible brand, contributing to the development of countries, supporting technological projects in accordance with its own structure, and carrying out all its projects by taking local elements into account.
