Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out by applying a questionnaire to 213 people who had been given health services by four private hospitals operating in Istanbul in order to check the applicability of the GLOVAL scale in the health sector based on the problem "Is there a significant difference between the demographic characteristics of the beneficiaries of the Hospital Services and moral dimensions that they perceive?". In the survey form, five demographic questions and 24 items are comprised of the GLOVAL scale consisting of six sub-dimensions. The Gloval (Global Purchase Perceived Value) Scale was developed in 2006 by Sanchez and colleagues. It was detected that the reliability coefficient of the scale was 897. Based on the findings obtained as a result of the analysis of the data collected from the participants, it was concluded that 40.8% of the participants were men and 59.2% were women; 62.0% were married, 38.0% were single; 12.7% of them were 25 years old and under, 25.4% of them were between 26 and 35 years old, 23.5% of them were between 36 and 45 years old, 20.2% of them were between 46 and 55 years old and 18.3% of them were in the age group of 56 and over; 6.6% of them were in primary education, 25.8% of them were in secondary education, 11.3% of them were in associate degree, 41.3% of them were in undergraduate and 15% of them were in postgraduate level; 5.2% of them had payment less than 1000 TL, 9.4% of them had salary between 1001 and 2000 TL, 15% of them had pay from 2001 to 3000 TL, 23% of them had salary between 3001 and 4000 TL and 47.4% of them had pay from 4001 to above. As a result of the research, it has been seen that the participants evaluations of regarding the functional value of the price and the social value dimensions are below average, but the other dimensions make positive remarks above average. It has been clear that price and social reputation are not significant for the health sector. As a result of the research, it is seen that there is no significant difference between the gender factor and the evaluations concerning the sub-dimensions of the perceived value; According to the marital status, in the functional value (quality) sub-dimension of hospital services; functional value of hospital services according to age (quality), functional value of price and emotional value of purchase and in social value sub-dimensions; According to education level, functional value of price, emotional value of purchase and its social value sub-dimensions; according to monthly income, there is a significant difference between functional value of price and its social value sub-dimensions.
