Reflections of migration from the South Caucasus to Turkey in the works of Ali Kafkasyali in the context of migration literature

Academic writer Ali Kafkasyali is the son of an immigrant who came from Azerbaijan to Kars, and has worked in academic activities at Atatürk University and other universities, and is currently a professor at Erzincan Binali Yildirim University. In addition to his dignified life as a scientist and his essential contributions to the academy, his literary personality is also mature. His literary works have been published in Azerbaijani Turkish, Kazakh Turkish, Persian and Russian, as well as Turkish in Turkey. The primary reason for his use of the theme of migration in his works is that his grandfathers experienced this migration. His works, which are written as witness literature, consist of immigrant characters who migrated and were forced to migrate for political reasons, and they are integral to migration literature. The subject and main axis of the study is the analysis of the author's literary documentary travel writing "Kafkaslardan Gelen Ezan Sesleri" (The call to prayer from the Caucasus), the play "Kırk Yıllık Kara Günler" (Forty years of dark days), the novels "Kafkas Koçakları" (Caucasian rams), "Kartallar Sınır Tanımaz" (Eagles know no borders), the stories "Dilencinin Yardımı" (The beggar's help), "Emin Dede" (Emin grandfather), "Firdest Hanım'ın Sürgünü ve Dadaş Dadaşov" (The exile of Mrs. Firdest and Dadash Dadashov), "Kazaklı Yunus Binbaşı" (The Kazakh Yunus Major), "Topal Asker" (Lame soldier) etc. in the context of migration literature. The introduction section explains the current scientific importance and problematic of the subject, a summary of the literature, research questions and hypothesis, the scope of the research, methods and techniques, and the order of the research. The first section discusses the framework information on the subject, the theoretical characteristics of migration literature, the settlement of migrant Karapapaks in Turkiye, the echoes of forced or voluntary migrations in literature, the author's literary and academic personality, and includes an interview with the author on his own works. In the second section, the analyses of the fictional works in question are carried out in terms of migration literature. In the third section, the religious-ethnic, economic, political and social factors of the causes of the migration phenomenon are investigated within the framework of its embodiment in our author's works. In the fourth section, the integrated effects of migration, demographic, religious, political and military issues are examined in terms of the echoes of the consequences of migration in the works in question. The opinions reached on the problematic of the functioning of the migration phenomenon in the author's works are explained in the conclusions section.
