The problem of immigrants' and refugees' being excluded from education

Beginning in 2011, the civil war in Syria brought a huge/massive migration to Turkey. From this point of view, the purpose of this research is to examine if this massive migration caused any hinder of education. Within the scope of the research, the literature providing sources was reviewed and also interview and survey techniques were applied to local people and to Syrian immigrants. With interviews and surveys, it is examined whether Syrian immigrants are involved in education life or not. Recommendations related to deficiencies in the field of education were presented. Furthermore, the conclusion section was written using the data acquired from the research and analysis.
