Abstract (EN)

Visual Data Analysis is a set of activities for detecting the interesting parts of an image and analysing them. Nowadays, as the social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Flickr etc.) grow, the works related to "Visual Data Analysis" are becoming more popular everyday. There are many platforms on the internet for users to upload their own images and to rate other images which were uploaded by other users. At this point a question reveals as "Which images get more like than others?". This thesis proposes a solution for predicting the aesthetich score of an image. The aim of the thesis is to allow a social media user to get the predicted score of his/her images. This prediction guide him/her to upload the better scored image to his/her social media account. During the development of this model, deep learning methods have been studied in the literature and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) structure is used. MATLAB is used as development enviroment and application codes were developed on this platform. In the conclusion section the results and the probable future works have given.
