Abstract (EN)
In parallel with the developing technology, visual presentations are gaining importance every day and are preferred. Virtual tour adds a new dimension to digital photography, enabling users to navigate the Internet, mobile and CD / DVD in three dimensions. With the virtual spaces created in a virtual environment, different environments can be experienced without leaving the house. It is impossible to escape from the physical space or move to a new world, but it is possible to move away from the virtual space with a button. These transitions are realized through interfaces designed for virtual spaces. It gives the photo a sense of reality as it is possible to navigate the entire horizontal and vertical axis in virtual tour. In addition, text and media applications used for information purposes in virtual tour increase the visual richness and provide visitors with an idea about the place. The fact that visual promotions, especially virtual walks, take a big share in the tourism sector with each passing day shows how much of a necessary promotional tool it is. In the light of this information; the purpose of this research is to identify the sectors where virtual tours are required as a visual communication tool and the reasons for the necessity of promotion. While the Virtual Tour of the places which are needed to be promoted and located in Turkey creates the scope of this research, the Virtual Tour of Harput creates the survey examples.
