The investigation of the secondary school adolescents tendency to violence in terms of visual media (The practical study in İstanbul )

The purpose of " The Investıgatıon Of The Secondary School Adolescents? Tendency To Vıolence In Terms Of Vısual Media (The Practıcal Study In Istanbul ) thesis is to elicit the effect of media on tendency to violence and learning of violence culture among 15?18 aged young people. It has been tried to find out how the said aged group is affected ? negatively or positively - by the programs that contain violence in comparison with basic parameters. A study about establishing the result of x2 test which is practiced in evaluating the data, highly verified relations are commented on the tables. According to the obtained data, it is found out that the visual media has a role on teaching violence to young by means of the programs containing violence. The center of the research is the students who are currently studying at secondary school (State High Schools, Private High School, State and Private Anatolian High Schools, and Vocational Schools ) and the students who are out of formal education and who carry on their education in Vocation Centers, as we call them the secondary school age group in Istanbul. The research is grouped in eight topic: Introduction and the state of the problem, socio-cultural effects of violence in mass communication devices, social learning theory, secondary school young?s problems, aoudio-visual media, violence and crime, methods, data and comments and comments and suggestions.
