Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to examine the relationships between creativity and entrepreneurship in visual arts students. For this purpose, it will be examined whether there is a meaningful relationship between the socio-demographic (age, sibling, grade (school), level of interest in technology, level of imagery, level of following social and cultural activities) and the level of creativity and entrepreneurship of visual arts students. It will be analyzed whether there is a significant difference in terms of entrepreneurship and creativity among the groups formed on the basis of socio-demographic (gender, type of high school graduated from, etc.) changes. In addition to all these, whether the level of creativity in visual arts students predicts the level of entrepreneurship will be examined. In the research, the relational screening method was used in accordance with the purpose. Universal set of the research is comprised of undergraduate and graduate visual art students, while the sample is formed by 318 students determined by proper sample methodology. Apart from the Personal Information Form, two different data collection tools were used for the research. The first one is the "How Creative Are You?" developed by Raudsepp and adapted to Turkish by Sungur, and the other is the "Entrepreneurship Scale for Teacher Candidates" developed by Deveci and Çepni. 'How Creative You Are Scale' consists of 50 articles, and 'Entrepreneurship Scale for Teacher Candidates' consists of 38 articles in five sub-dimensions. In the research, the relationship between creativity and entrepreneurship was examined, and a positive and significant relationship was found between creativity and entrepreneurship in visual arts students according to the findings obtained as a result of statistical analysis. According to the results of the t-test, the entrepreneurship levels of visual arts students differed in favor of women according to gender. As age increases, the level of creativity and entrepreneurship increases, and as the number of siblings increases, the level of creativity decreases. As the level of education and interest in technology increases, it differentiates in favor of entrepreneurship. As the level of imagination and following social and cultural activities increase, the levels of creativity and entrepreneurship increase. As a result of the linear simple regression analysis, it was found that the level of creativity of visual arts students significantly predicted the level of entrepreneurship and the level of entrepreneurship. The data obtained were discussed within the framework of the relevant literature.
