Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, non-isolated DC-DC power converters, which are widely used in visible light communication, are examined. In visible light communication, the operation of these converters in the system has been analyzed. For the investigation of converters, a simulation research based on visible light communication has been performed. With this study, a design was made for the transmitter, which is an important part of the system while data transfer is being carried out. The behavior of power electronics converters during transmitter operation focused on. This thesis aims to examine some features that can be guiding while designing power electronic converters in visible light communication. In this thesis, the results are obtained in the simulation were compared. Based on these results, a prototype has been developed by working on a visible light communication system that can be used in real life. Visible light communication and data transfer have been successfully achieved by using a buck DC-DC converter, which is a power electronics converter, through the developed prototype.
