Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, 12 layers of Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofiber in Elium (E) resin, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% Graphene Nanoplate (GNP) doped nanofiber by weight of PAN respectively, 1% Iron Oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticle doped nanofiber by weight of PAN Nanocomposites reinforced with 0.5% GNP + 0.5% Fe3O4 nanoparticles by weight of PAN were produced. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images were taken to determine the fiber diameters of the produced nanofibers. Thermogravimetric (TGA-DSC) analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis, Tensile test, Mode-I translaminar fracture toughness test, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) and shape memory properties of nanocomposites were examined. In the tensile test results, the tensile strength of pure Elium was measured as 44.44 MPa, and the best tensile strength was 68.86 MPa of the Elium matrix nanocomposite reinforced with 1% GNP added PAN nanofiber. As a result of the Mode-I translaminar fracture toughness test, the best KTL value was determined in the nanocomposite material with 1% GNP additive. As a result of DMA analysis, the glass transition temperature (Tg) of E is 70.76 °C and the one with the highest Tg is 1% Fe3O4 doped nanocomposite with 91.68 °C. As a result of examining the shape memory properties, which is the main subject of the study, the return rate of E was measured as 80%. The one with the highest shape recovery rate was 95%, 1% GNP added PAN nanofiber reinforced nanocomposite material.
