Abstract (EN)

In thesis studies; "Graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized from graphite using the "Modified Hummers Method". The synthesized GO was dispersed using deionized water and tap water. The synthesized graphene oxide was applied on the textile material using the "Impregnation and Exhaustion Method". In the studies conducted; 60/1 single jersey quality knitted with 2.8 mm loop length, which is known as the standard quality in the technique and the industry, has been used. During the applications, the functional effects of the changes made in the amount of GO, the process temperature and the applied process times on the fabric were examined. Burst resistance, "wicking", "spray (absorbance)" "thickness" and "conductivity" tests were carried out to ensure that the effect of the applied graphene oxide was observable. The data obtained; It has been interpreted with the help of GO, FTIR, SEM and RAMAN analyzes. According to the test results; It was observed that the fabric gained more functional properties compared to the graphene oxide impregnation method using exhaustion methods. After the graphene oxide applications on the fabric, the electrical conductivity of the fabric has also increased. Therefore, graphene oxide fabric applications; It is thought that it will contribute to the development of smart textiles, especially among technical textiles. Industry advancement and increased expectations for end product performance; It also supports studies for the development of high value-added products such as smart textile products. For this reason, it is thought that the studies conducted within the scope of the thesis will be a guide for future knitting and fabric optimizations.
