The portfolio design in the terms of graphic arts education

The aim of this study is to investigate portfolio design and applications on education in terms of graphic arts education, to investigate the designs which would be samples, to analyze students? portfolio designs and acquire results.This research?s data are acquired by investigation forms prepared by researcher. First literature scanning was completed then an investigation form outline was developed. This outline is criticized by a group of professionals and operators. The forms which were changed in the lights of these critics were put into practice on studies of students of Başkent University and Hacettepe University. The acquired data was construed by rating.In the second section of this work named as ?Portfolio Design in the terms of Graphic Arts Education? communication and graphic arts, in third section graphic education, in forth section personal offer, in fifth section portfolio topics were investigated. In the sixth section of this study, the pinpoints which are imported for portfolio design are investigated. In seventh and eighth sections sample portfolios were investigated and construed in the lights of these criterions and acquired results.As a result of this research; in portfolio designs investigating creativity and functionality together, requirement of not ignoring the some criterions were seen. Portfolio represents an evolution. Educational experience includes growth and growth needs collecting important information to consider new concept and sides frequently.
