Abstract (EN)
The primary factor driving individuals who work in and study graphic design to pursue this field is not necessity, but rather the satisfaction that comes from creating designs. This research aims to examine the variables affecting the unemployment anxiety levels of graphic design students. The "Unemployment Anxiety Scale" was used to determine the unemployment anxiety levels among students. A total of 350 students participated in the study, including 198 women and 152 men, from the graphic design departments at Süleyman Demirel University, Akdeniz University, and Selçuk University. A personal information form was utilized to identify the demographic characteristics of the participating students. In the data analysis process of the study, Independent Samples T-test and One Way ANOVA analyses were conducted using SPSS 25.0. It was determined that the students' unemployment anxiety levels were above average. The study found significant differences in unemployment anxiety based on students' gender, class levels, age groups, and their places of residence (p<0.05). Conversely, no significant difference was found in unemployment anxiety based on family income level (p>0.05).
