Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to examine the level of satisfaction of graphic designers? about their training, professions and, businesses by analyzing the level of training they received. This descriptive research was conducted based on a general screening model. The study population was constructed from graphic designers who were working in the sector in 2011. For the selection of the graphic designers that are participated in this research, the graphical designers that are working in newspapers, magazines, television, printing, publishing companies in the provinces of the Aegean region was targeted without distinction of any kind. Then, it was asked to answer Graphic Designers Educational Status Questionnaire that is consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions. For the analysis of data obtained from graphical designers, SPSS 13.0 (Statistical Package for Social Science) software was used. In addition, the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation tests have been performed. As a result of data analysis, it was demonstrated that the vast majority of 390 graphic designers have not received any kinds of graphical design training. Also, for those who has the graphical design training in their background education, were not happy with their education as well. Finally, the majority of employees that are surveyed are facing huge problems with their businesses.
