Orphanages are established for children who are in need of protection in accordance with the development of, providing them shelter in a healthy environment, organizations are created to meet social and psychological needs. to realize the objective of social services, these micro, mezzo, and macro intervention is important. In working with adolescents in the literature relative to micro interventions mezzo intervention it is said to be more effective.The purpose of this research, the protection of a male remaining in orphanages in Istanbul and improve problem-solving skills under the care of adolescents aged 14-17 and to determine the effectiveness of social service to the group about to be strengthened. The purpose of the focus group sessions were organized by the social work practice and research purposes. in the working group process was conducted in two sessions with 11 members participating in for 5 weeks. Problem solving skills to the changes in the pre-test and post-test were analyzed through the results obtained from their inventory. Members of the group process skills and problem solving skills to increase their self-expression have been shown to benefit from the group processes and they support each other by sharing important.
