Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the effect of Group Play Education Program, which was developed with the method of child-centered play, on increasing social satisfaction in peer relationships in the kindergarten of 66-72 months old children. The data collection phase of the research, which is a semi-experimental design and conducted between September 2018 and April 2020, was carried out in an independent kindergarten determined by the simple randomization method. The study was conducted with a total of 40 children, 66-72 months, including the experimental (n = 20), control (n = 20) groups, using the random sampling method. The Group Play Education Program, which was developed by researchers was applied to children in the experimental group in a total of 11 sessions, each session of which consisted of five games. Data collected with Personal Information Form and Loneliness and Social Satisfaction Scale (5-6 Age) were analyzed with t test for independent samples, t test for dependent samples and factorial ANOVA test. In the pre-test results, it was determined that there was no significant difference regarding social satisfaction in peer relationships in the kindergarten of 66-72 months old children in the experimental and control groups (p> 0.05), and 63% of the children in both groups had moderate social satisfaction. At the end of research social satisfaction increased, social dissatisfaction decreased in the children in the experimental group; In the control group, it was determined that social dissatisfaction increased, social satisfaction decreased. It has been proven that Group Game Education Program is effective in increasing social satisfaction in important 66-72 months old kindergarten.
