Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in the borders of Güçlükonak/ŞIRNAK in the late spring and summer months when drought stress was experienced, under high temperature and drought stresses, in order to reduce the damages of stress on pepper plants (Capsicum annuum L.) and to form a combination with water, three different doses of salicylic acid (SA) from plant growth regulators were applied as 0.00 mM (control), 0.50 mM and 1.00 mM salicylic acid at 30, 45 and 60 days after planting. In irrigation water application, cumulative pan evaporation (CPE) of 3 days in a class-A pan evaporation pan was studied at four irrigation levels as %50; %75; %100 and %125, respectively, in the spring-summer period of 2024. Accordingly, the study was evaluated with SPSS program according to the randomized block split plot design, and the significance levels of groupings between the subjects were determined with Duncan test. Applications were started in the subjects related to irrigation levels 15 days after planting and F1 seedlings were used. The effects of salicylic acid application and drought stress on yield potential and quality parameters in peppers harvested from the subjects were investigated. The findings obtained; According to the subjects consisting of main and sub-subject combination, the highest yield value was 85,730.00 kg/ha in salicylic acid 0.10 mM * IR-L - %125 subject (12th Subject), whereas the lowest yield was 37,102.33 kg/ha in salicylic acid 0.00 mM * IR-L - %50 subject (1st Subject). When the subjects where the yield values pepper were obtained with maximum and minimum product were examined, it was concluded that three parameters triggering these results were effective. These are: fruit weight, fruit number per plant and yield values plant, respectively, and it was understood that they dominated the pepper yield. Namely, the maximum and minimum limits of these three parameters were 44.33 g - 67.33 g; 25.00 pieces - 38.33 pieces and 1,147.67 g - 2,572.00 g, respectively.
