Abstract (EN)
This study, which investigated the geodynamic structure of Gulbahce fault and its surroundings, was conducted within the scope of Dokuz Eylül University Scientific Research Project No. 2018.KB.FEN.010. In the field study performed, gravity and magnetic measurements to examine the tectonic and kinematic structure in the region, GPS (Global Positioning System) measurements to examine the dynamic process and the stress-deformation relationship from the dynamic process. Using these measured data, tilt angle and normalized full gradient methods were applied to gravity data, Euler deconvolution method was applied to magnetic data and 2 dimensional deformation analysis was applied to GPS data. According to the results of the Bouguer gravity anomalies calculated from the measured gravity values, low amplitude gravity anomalies are observed along the K-G direction in the Gulbahce fault and its surroundings. In the data obtained from magnetic measurements, anomalies with predominantly negative amplitudes are observed throughout the region. In deformation analysis, deformation on the northern side of the region gives higher values. In addition, the results of all applied methods were examined together.
