Abstract (EN)
In this study, finite element model of displacements occurring by time in the Gülburnu Bridge, which is one of the bridges built with the balanced console method between 2005 and 2009 in Turkey, was generated by taking into account of material features and changes in boundary conditions in the ANSYS program. The computation of the displacements under vertical loads, creep-shrinkage displacements, and displacements occurring due to prestress losses was aimed with the generated finite element model. These studies were conducted with the prediction that excessive displacements occurred in bridges that were constructed before with the balanced console method could also occur in the Gülburnu Bridge, which is a bridge whose legs are on the ground and has an 82.50 m clearance. Generation of the finite element model of the bridge took place in the major part of this study, and the B3 Model by Bazant was used for creep and shrinkage effects occurring in the bridge by time. As a result of the studies, displacements and creep shrinkage effects that could occur in the middle of clearance of the Gülburnu Bridge were explored.
