Özet (EN)
Todays, due to the increasing rate of energy consumption and the environmental problems, electric utilities go towards environment-friendly green energy sources. Since the reserves of the fossil sources are limited and these sources have adverse effects on the environment, alternative energy sources become important especially in the last quarter of 20th century. The main alternative energy sources are hydraulic energy, geothermal energy, wind energy and solar energy. All, but nuclear and geothermal, energy resources, which generate electricity, are originated from the sun. Electrical energy is directly obtained from the sun by means of photovoltaic solar cells. The lighting systems by Solar Battery is the typical sample of the applications which is established to provide the small amount of energy demands and named as the independent from the central net, in case that the net of electricity is not possible to reach or doesn't require at all. Although the first cost of investment is expensive, the rate of using these systems increases day by day due to their low expense of operation. Key Words: Photovoltaic Cells, Renewable Energy Sources, Inverter
