Abstract (EN)
Energy needs are increasing day by day in parallel with the living conditions and developments in the industry. In meeting the energy needs, two types of sources are used: non-renewable energies and renewable energies. Fossil fuels, carbon emissions and greenhouse gases increase from non-renewable energy sources. For this reason, fossil fuel power generation facilities directly affect the ecosystem and human life. As the fossil fuel reserve is limited and gradually decreasing, demand for renewable energy sources has increased as an alternative to fossil fuels. Renewable energy source is the most invested and supported by countries in the 21st century. Countries such as America, China and India have been making serious investments recently and aiming to make use of solar energy as much as possible. Such countries, which devote their largest investments to R&D activities, make great efforts for low-cost, high-efficiency energy. Turkey, the world in terms of solar energy potential is one of the most efficient position relative to the general. The annual and daily sunbathing period is far above the world average. Turkey's average annual solar radiation of 1303 kWh / m²yıl, the average annual sunshine duration of 2623 hours. This figure corresponds to a daily sunbathing time of 3.6 kWh / m², approximately 7.2 hours a day, and a total of 110 days. In other words, there is 26.2 million TEP potential annually. In 10 months of the year, 63% of the country can be used technically and economically, and 17% of the whole year. In this study, solar energy efficiency with the same capacity in different climatic zones was investigated and energy potentials were compared according to this study. The environmental impacts of renewable energy sources are evaluated. PVSYST software was used while making this evaluation. Climate data of the regions determined with this software were obtained.
