Özet (EN)
In this study s Solar Energy potential of Turkey- was reasearched " It is known, that Turkey has a great potential to utilize Solar Energy 9 so it was found important to search for means to utilize this pot&nti&l» Among severs! different tises of Solar Energy s Techniques of Desiccating Fruits and ¥egitables through Solar Energy was chosen to study in detail. In order to explain how this technique is implemented desiccation of pepper is used as an exaaple. Methods of benefitting from the Solar Energy for desiccating peppers was researched in this study. After examining several applications of vagitafole desiccation processes, Sunlight + Owens with Condensation type of ©wens vere developed and peppers were put in these for desiccation, Peppers desiccation processes were conducted under the -JÎÎ-sun and in these special owens, Findings of these two processes were compared in teras of quiaiitys productivity 5 time spent, and shape of' the dried pepper» The results showed that it was better to desiccate peppers in these owens than it was under the Sun.
