Özet (EN)

The change of global climate, the risk of running out of fosil fuel and the impact on environment require the use of renewable enegry resources. From this point of view, the use of renewable enegry resources in required areaes is import. In this project, applications of solar energy which is one of the most important renewable energy resource for Turkey and South East Region of Turkey, is investigated.İn this project, firstly components of solar cell systems and solar energy are examined. And then application models used with this system are explained. For house applications Diyarbakir Solar House and for telecommunication applications a radio base station are selected as models. Firstly system details are given and then measured values and energy production capacity are tried to find in these examined application system. Application model simulations are done by Homer Simulation programme which can be used for energy production systems. According to these simulations and data the cost price is revealed. Systems which are fed by solar cell set uo cost price is so high that productive usage of energy is very important. Also in this Project, some methods are examined increasing the productive usage of energy and some suggestions are presented..
