Özet (EN)

In this study, an optimization process is carried out to design a hybrid solar-wind system using an hourly solar and wind data. In order to design a hybrid solar-wind power generation system, research is needed on two main topics. The first one is the loss power of load probability under changing atmospheric conditions, and the second is the system cost, which that depend on this probability. For an optimum system, these two criteria should be minimum. In order to estimate the minimum values of these criteria, a numerical computing environment in the MATLAB is prepared. The decision variables used in the optimization process are the number of solar cell, the number of wind turbine, the number of battery and wind turbine installation height. Proposed method has been applied to meet the requirement for a telecom radiolink station in Malatya province. And the design results of this telecom radiolink station are given. A hybrid system is also designed for Çanakkale province, where wind speed is quite different.
