Abstract (EN)
Due to limited potential of fossil resources and climate change as a result of pollution in environment photovoltaic (PV) systems has been gained more importance as an alternative energy source and many power plants has been built in recent years. To reduce the losses and to achieve maximum efficiency in solar power plants work in this direction has gained importance. In this thesis, the methods that affect the efficiency of solar panels; Solar Tracking System (STS), temperature and pollution effects are examined experimentally and the impact of various Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) methods enable the maximum power transfer to the load on the performance of system is investigated. The angle of solar radiation reaching the Earth at different angles during the day in the sun tracking system is detected by a tracker and positioning of the panel is done in this respect. Thus, weakening effect on the system due to the change in the direction of radiation in east-west axis as a result of the world's daily action is reduced. A MATLAB simulation model is constructed for the system. The output power is controlled by connecting an MPPT control unit to the output of PV panels and maximum power is delivered to the load from the output of the panel. By applying solar tracking and maximum power point tracking, the effect of above discussed features are minimized and the efficiency of photovoltaic systems the efficiency has been increased. The effects of panel surface dusting and temperature on reducing the efficiency of is examined.
