The content research on present-day Afghan-Uzbek prose

A research was performed on the content of stories taken from ?Yena Koruskunca? by Sefika Yarkin, ?Bir Kislakning Kozyaslari? by Zikrullah Isanc, ?Hamma Gap Pulda? by Nurullah Altay, and the books of Muhammed Halim Yarkin, all of whom are Afghan-Uzbek artists.Our research consists of; Introduction; Life, Work, and Literary Characteristics of the Artists; Review; Conclusion and Translations.In the first Chapter, information is provided on the state of Afghanistan on the 19th Century, and the Afghan-Uzbek Literature of the time, the Conception Period of Modern Uzbek Literature in Afghanistan (1978-2001) and the Development Period of Modern Uzbek Literature in Afghanistan (from 2001 to date). In the 2nd Chapter, information is provided on the lives, literary thoughts and characteristics of the authors. In the 3rd Chapter, 22 stories selected from the stories of the authors is reviewed for their content. In the Translations Chapter, the 22 stories in question are translated into Turkish.It?s an interesting point that the artists have used expressions that belong to the Northern part of South Turkistan (Afghanistan) in their stories. Use of local expressions has enriched the stories. Artists were precise on their use of the language, and they mostly preferred longer sentences. While they favored the vocabulary of the current Uzbek language, they have also used dated words as well. They have also successfully made use of proverbs and idioms.
