Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the intricate structure of the studied work of art with the object and space and its spreading to the space and being in unity with it are problematized through the process of Proficiency in Art education. Today's productions are very diverse and articulable to each other. Alternative and hybrid productions that overflow from the two-dimensional canvas surface and flow into space and actively connect with it reveal fundamental changes experienced in surface perception. In this context, such basics of transformations experienced on the canvas surface were examined and an in-depth reading was carried out on today's productions which contain presuppositions about the research topic. Within this scope, the study creates a sequence from the 20th century to the present and includes the ruptures caused by the intellectual bifurcations experienced in the art environment, thus new beginnings and the works which can be considered as milestones. Concordantly, the notions such as The Theory of Relativity, Fourth Dimension, Simultaneity, Cubism, Analytic Cubism, Collage, Assemblage, Deconstruction and Site-specific which are the adumbrant of the transformation encountered were examined. A rich inventory information about object and space has been gathered during the study and within this scope the conceptions like Thing, Thing in itself, Substance, Phenomenon, Idea, Form, Ousia, Monad, Object-oriented Ontology, Res cogitans, Res extansa, Vacuum, Perceived Space, Conceived Space, Lived Space, Dasein were also studied. In conclusion, the co-existence of the works with the space in which they are located brought along a multi-layered reading of their multidimensional and hybrid, frameless and borderless nature which circulates in the range of painting and sculpture itself.
