Many artists, who are producing in contemporary art, use the similar formal parameters with different approaches. In this study, emphasizing on the instances which especially use repetition, grid, geometric forms and characteristic mediums from the intersection of minimalism and post minimalism together with the concepts treated by these instances are tried to be analyzed. Although most of these artists have indirect references, they used previous data, in other words they took advantage of minimalist heritage. Whereas within this context, their effects on the art of today is quite clear. What is common among the examples of reductive concepts like invisibility, trace, existence, nothingness, emptiness and perception, becomes clear in the titles and appearance of the works. All these concepts, together with short term nature of experience, memory and time, have a strong effect. This way of comprehension forms emphasis on sensibilities at the same time. By means of reduction, works can be read more widely, thus most concepts which are at the center of these works can be analyzed with the political and social point of view. The form of reductive comprehension, which has continued since 1960s, has a significant place in contemporary art regarding lots of reforms and technological developments. This historical process has become a part of our time with current concepts and new pursuits.
