Özet (EN)
The Status of the Voice Records until 1960 for theMultiple Formats of Vocalization in Today?s Standard Turkish LanguageAnkara, 2009It is known that multiple formats exist for the vocalization of Turkish language. Apart from the deteriorated Turkish grammar in public life, you may come across with such multiple formats with actresses, anchormen, correspondents, etc., who earn their lives from diction performances and also, journalists, politicians, instructors, other intellectual individuals, etc., who have the power to influence and direct the society. There are some studies regarding Turkish diction. But those studies relate to breathing and articulation techniques for Turkish diction rather than the core subject of this thesis. This study, despite its fundamentals base on Turkish diction, actually refers to the differentiation between the professional executers. In this research, the very first Turkish records, covering the period until 1960, containing the multiple formats were digitally identified as per the current Turkish diction rules. This study includes the evaluation of 7 Turkish movies and 4 TRT Ankara Radio Children?s Hour Program records and the pre-identified language components which comprise of its movie name, the minute where this component was spoken and the name of the person who used that component was registered. The data acquired was classified in relation to its language component. Consequently, classified language components were determined depending on their way and number of speaking. In light of the acquired data, one may conclude that there are multiple formats used by the ones who vocalize Turkish language professionally, and that such multiple formats may result from the differentiation in education, and that a solution in eliminating the differentiation is not far if all the relevant parties commit to study in a specific agenda.
