Abstract (EN)
This work under the title of ?In terms of Islamic Law Muslims Engagement and Marriage Applications in Georgia? consist of two section apart from ?Introduction? and ?Conclusion? In the introduction section, information about the subject, aim, importance and responsibility of the thesis together with the method used thoughout the research. The first section, is an overview of concept of family in Islam, the concept of families in muslim Georgia and fundamental features, family formation in muslim Georgia, general information about Georgia society, some information on engagement an wedding traditions on societies contemporary world. In the second section, addresses engagement according to the islamic law and muslims engagement practices today in Georgia and the provisions of engagement and marriage in Islamic law. In addition to that, I examine marriages in Georgia is or not suitable to İslamic law, place of engagement and contract engagement in Islamic law, the legal consequences of marriage contract among muslims of Georgia, temporary and permanent barriers to marriage and the legal consequences of the divorce.
