Abstract (EN)

White-collar employees in the automotive sector work at a pace that is dynamic, stressful, anxiety provoking, and intense. This stressful environment can cause employees to feel insecure about working. Employees' job insecurity may reduce their work engagement. This study examines the relationship between perceived job insecurity and wok engagement based on the above assumption. As a result of the research, it was found that the work engagement of white-collar employees working in 7 companies in İzmir and Manisa provinces who perceive job insecurity is negatively affected. Some hypotheses were developed to investigate this relationship and data were collected from 184 white collar employees in automotive sector through an online survey. Demographic questions, perceived job insecurity scale, and work engagement scale were used to collect data. The research contributes to the literature and is significant due to the study being conducted in the automotive sector and among employees and due to the preferred research area, hypothesis, and analysis findings.
